Each card shows a from-price where the listing publishes one, plus the rating and review count as they appear on the booking page. Four listings publish a from-price, running from $22 to $58 per person (checked September 2026), and the rest show the current figure only on the live page.
Who this comparison is written for
This site compares cruises. It does not operate them. There is no boat, no crew, no dock and no reservation system behind these pages. Every booking happens on the live listing of the cruise you choose, and that is where your voucher, departure details and cancellation terms live. Nobody here can hold a seat, move a date or process a refund, and no one will claim otherwise.
The reader these pages are written for has a free evening or an afternoon in Budapest and wants the city from the water (see Is the free Budapest walking tour enough, or is a Danube cruise worth adding?). That reader is usually staring at three browser tabs in which the descriptions read nearly word for word. A dinner cruise and a sightseeing cruise can look identical in a search result, yet they are different products: one is centred on a Hungarian meal and live music, the other on the view of Parliament, Buda Castle and the bridges. A page that repeats the word cruise without unpacking what each format actually includes has told you nothing you could not have read yourself.
This site takes no money from any operator to appear, rank or stay listed, and no cruise company was ever given the chance to buy placement. There is no named author or invented persona behind the pages, and nothing is written as though a particular cruise was personally taken. The voice throughout is plain research and reporting. Ratings and review counts shown on the cards are pulled from the listings themselves, so you can open any booking page and confirm the same numbers.
How the listings were examined
Every cruise was checked against its own booking page, one by one. No text was lifted from operator brochures, press releases or rival comparison sites.

How this site earns money
No departure has ever left from these pages. Nothing is sold, no seat is held and no payment passes through. Your booking, voucher, boarding details and any cancellation all sit with the operator's live listing, and that is where your contract sits too.
The links are what pay for the site. Book through one and the operator pays no extra and neither do you: open the same listing directly and the price you see is the same either way. Full mechanics, including which platform is involved, are laid out on the disclosure page.
You can ignore the links entirely. Every cruise listed here can be booked directly on the platform that sells it, and the comparisons, the FAQ and the guides work the same either way.
