No phone line, no ticket desk, no chatbot loop. This is a small editorial site about Danube cruises from Budapest, and the inbox is read by the same people who write the pages.
Reasons people write in:
- A from-price that has drifted. The cruises here reprice with the date and the option chosen, so if a card shows $22 or $58 (checked September 2026) and the live listing says otherwise, we would rather hear it from you than find it late.
- A listing that no longer matches its description. Operators change schedules, swap boats, or pull a cruise from sale altogether. Send the link and the page gets corrected.
- Anything factually wrong: a dock, a duration, an operator name, or a landmark described badly.
- A cruise we have overlooked. If a Budapest operator sells a bookable Danube departure with prices shown up front and a listing that holds up when read twice, send the URL. We look at it for free, make no promises, and answer with a straight yes or no about adding it to the site.
- A question the FAQ never reaches, or one the guides pass over.

How we reply
A straight answer rather than a fast one. Errors go first: a wrong from-price or a mislabelled dock gets corrected once confirmed, usually within a day or two. Bigger questions take longer, and when an answer would help more than one reader it becomes a paragraph in a guide rather than a private email. Nothing follows afterwards: no newsletter, no upsell, and your address is not shared with anyone.
Where we cannot help
Reservations sit outside our reach entirely. We cannot hold a seat, shift a departure, cancel a ticket or push a refund through. Each of the eight cruises covered on this site belongs to its operator, and the booking itself happens on that operator's listing, not here.
When the issue concerns a ticket already paid for, go to your confirmation email first. It lists your reference number, the boarding point and a contact route straight to the company running the boat (see Budapest River Cruise Boarding Locations: Which Dock Does Your Boat Leave From?). A same-day hiccup, a late schedule change, confusion about where to check in: the operator handles all of this, and we have no way to.
