Privacy policy
This site compares Danube river cruises in Budapest. No accounts, no forms, no checkout. You browse the listings, read the details, and click through to a live booking page. Nothing you do here is tied to a name or an email address.
What we measure
The only measurement this site runs is aggregate: which pages were viewed, roughly where the visit came from, what kind of device was used, and which listing links were clicked. The click data matters most, because it shows whether a comparison between, say, a candlelit dinner cruise and a prosecco spritz cruise actually helped someone decide. It exists to judge whether a page is useful, never to identify a person. No names, email addresses or payment details are stored, because nothing here asks for them and there is nothing to charge you for.
Third-party scripts
The analytics tool sets its own cookies. If a page embeds a map, that map loads from the provider and may set cookies under its own policy. Neither tool receives a name or an email address from this site.
Follow a cruise link and the operator's booking page sets its own cookies for checkout and fraud checks after you leave. Those scripts belong to the listing's booking service, not to this site, and that service's privacy policy takes over. The disclosure page explains who pays what in that handoff.
No outside scripts
- Sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
- Run ad-network scripts, retargeting pixels or any cross-site tracker on a page.
- Ask for an email address. There is no newsletter and no mailing list.
- Handle a payment, hold a cabin, or modify a reservation made for a Danube sailing. Every card charge and confirmation email comes from the operator's checkout, which means this site never sees your booking details or billing information.
- Offer a contact form of any kind. The contact page is a plain mailto address, so any message you send travels through your own email provider and no server of ours sits in between.
Hosting
Delivery relies on a standard hosting setup, which keeps routine server logs that can include an IP address and the pages requested. Nobody on this side searches those records to identify or track an individual visitor. Their only use is blocking abuse and keeping the site online.
Your choices
Using a private window, a script blocker, or tracking protection removes the analytics script from every page, and the site works without it. The dinner-cruise, drinks-cruise, and sightseeing-cruise listings all display with JavaScript off, so a slow or blocked connection will not hide the operator names, durations, or prices shown. If you would rather leave before clicking through, the disclosure page names the booking service behind each live listing, giving you a direct way to find the same departures elsewhere.
